LincUpLive Ltd
LincUpLive is a digital events company specialising in social media training, conferences and consultancy.
Partners Celia Lacy, Glenn Le Santo and Tim Downing present a wealth of experience combining skills in digital marketing, networking, journalism, PR, social media training and business development.
Joanne Jacobs, Social Media Consultant & Lecturer has confirmed a fascinating keynote for our Lincoln conference:
The Art of Linking.
"Social media have succeeded so far because they are about making connections between people, and to sources people share. These human filters are not just more efficient than algorithms in recommending content, they're also engaging and interesting as sources of conversation. But in the wake of their early success, social media companies are now desperately seeking business models for their continued development, and firms using these tools are desperately seeking ways to improve reputation and provide content that has sustained relevance for audiences" says Joanne.
In this presentation, Joanne will explore how the act of linking has become an art for professionals using social media. She will present findings from an ongoing study into how the sharing of links have affected ranking systems and explore how connections between individuals shape influence and authority.
